About Us

The JailBreak 4 Mile was the idea of Larimer County Sheriff Justin Smith who wanted to create an event for the community to accomplish three goals:

1. Bring members of the community together with members of the Sheriff’s Office in a fun atmosphere.
2. Raise money for a beneficial organization, the Child Advocacy Center.
3. Get people up and off the couch on a Saturday morning to do something active.

There will be post-race demonstrations by Sheriff’s Office:

• Posse
• SWAT Team
• K9 Unit
• Bomb Squad
• Crime Scene Investigators
• Wildland Fire/Rescue

You can meet the deputies, see their equipment in action, and learn about their jobs protecting our community.
